Hi All,
I finally solved a problem I had for the last year. (Tech support was clueless)
CURLY QUOTE MARKS
The quote marks in Word changed from curly quotes to straight quotes a year ago and I never knew why.
Copying and pasting them into my manuscript has been a pain.
Today I discovered the checkbox option in auto correct. (A friend had suggested this but I never could find it.)
Office Button > Word Options BUTTON > Proofing > Auto Correct Options > Auto Format as you type TAB >
Replace as you type SECTION
“Straight Quotes” with “Smart Quotes” (Smart Quotes are curly! YES!!!)
It was so simple!
Save these directions in case someone you know needs them. Life just got a whole lot easier.
